Travel writers to read in NY for Featurewell celebration

This Tuesday, October 9th, a number of writers will read essays about life-changing travels as part of an event called “Going Places: Revelations from the Road.” Presenters include National Geographic Adventure contributing editor Tom Clynes, war correspondent Janine di Giovanni, Blindsided by a Diaper author Beth Levine, and journalist Stanley Mieses.

The readings kick off at 8 p.m. at Rapture Café & Books, 200 Avenue A (between 12th & 13th Streets) in New York City. The event is a 7th anniversary celebration for the online syndication service Featurewell, which markets articles and columns by more than 1000 top writers to newspapers, magazines and Web sites worldwide.
