Travel, make videos, and make money

It seems like traveling and making your own videos, and earning a few bucks no longer requires going to film-school or working for the Travel Channel. Thanks to websites like Tripfilms, as long as you have a video camera and an idea on how to express something cool from your trip, voila, you might just get paid to produce it!

Editing is what might get the better of you, but there are many user-friendly programs available that are easy to figure out in an evening. What’s more, experts at Tripfilm are willing to give you a hand.

It’s a very simple website that even gives you story ideas and guidance on what makes a good travel-video. You can just share your videos, or apply to have your trip filmed (they will help paying for it if they like the idea), or apply to be a Tripfilms Pro Filmmaker. Depending on what you apply for and your agreement with the team, you can get paid from US$100-US$250 per video.

The site is run by a team of youngsters based in New York who love to travel and make films, and they want to share that opportunity with other travel-loving amateur filmmakers. Definitely worth checking out.

Pros please do not be fooled by websites like this! If you are a Pro you can get paid US$150,000.00 (one hundred and fifty thousand american dollars) per hour of video.
Just Go to filmmaker’s portal sites for Travel Channel, Discovery, Nat. Geo, Smithsonian Channel, etc, etc. and submit your idea and you will see.
