The Arts & Letters Daily Effect

A couple weeks ago, an essay I posted here, The tourist is always the other guy, was linked from the “Nota Bene” section of Arts & Letters Daily. In addition to sending over 2000 new readers to this blog, my listing at Arts & Letters Daily was a thrill on a personal level, since there are few websites I read more obsessively from day to day. It was nice to be a part of the lineup.

If you aren’t currently a reader of aldaily.com (which is a service of the Chronicle of Higher Education), you’re missing out on the best English-language blog for intellectual, educational and political issues online. Check it out here.
