Tapping the collective travel mind (and a welcome to Justin Glow)

Today I’m debuting a new, interactive blog category, called “Notes from the collective travel mind.”

The idea behind this category is to tap the collective wisdom of all my online readers (including you!) to assemble and promote relevant and entertaining articles, websites, advice, insights, and information pertaining to independent travel.

Helping me edit this new category will be Justin Glow, a Missouri State U. geography/philosophy student whose extensive travels have taken him through North America and Europe (and, later this year, India). [Welcome, Justin!]

Thus, if you know of a good travel website, article, blog — or any useful online travel aid — please let us know by sending Justin an email at collective@vagabonding.net.

Short, enlightening travel essays or brief nuggets of travel advice are also welcome, and will be published with a byline if we find them uniquely helpful. We welcome all input, from armchair travelers to PR professionals, though we will choose content in accordance with the spirit of vagabonding, and mindful travel in general.

Justin’s first entries in this blog category will run tomorrow, and we welcome your input in the future!
