Special December 2009 fares for multi-stop tickets on BootsnAll

As I write this, I’m sitting in a lodge in central Washington at a company meeting. It’s gorgeously sunny outside, and the snow-covered mountain just outside the window is a glowing light blue. But I know that when I scamper out the door to get a closer look I’ll be greeted with a biting chill. So it’s probably not surprising that the itineraries for the round-the-world ticket deals for this month are so appealing to me – for the most part, they’re headed to warmer climates.

I’ve got nothing against winter, and I like experiencing distinct seasons, but I can’t help but think that a trip to the southern hemisphere right now would be downright lovely. Since the grass always seems greener on the other side, however, I might soon grow tired of all that sun and remember this chill and snow-covered mountain fondly. But then again, maybe not.

At any rate, the special deals this month largely focus on itineraries that will bring you to warmer places. There are places in the southern hemisphere like Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. Some of the destinations on these itineraries are warm year-round, like Singapore and Thailand. And yes, there are some cold-weather destinations included, too, like Paris and Beijing – just to keep you humble. Or something. And hey, if you time it right, you could put off arriving in those northern hemisphere spots until they warmed up a bit, too.

This month’s itineraries could help you do a bit of sun-chasing, if you so desire. Just send a little bit of that sun my way when you get there, won’t you?

Here are the new special deals on multi-stop airline tickets available through BootsnAll – these deals are good through December 31, 2009:

And if these trips aren’t exactly what you had in mind, you can create your ideal trip with our RTW travel planner.
