Souvenirs, and their real life counterparts

A set of interesting travel photos from London-born photographer, Michael Hughes, has been making its way around the Internet this past week. “Souvenirs” is a collection of images taken of famous buildings, locations, and landmarks from around the world with a postcard or souvenir held in front as to match exactly with the real life counterpart.

Rather than attempt to explain any further, I’ll let the pictures do the talking. Here are some of my favorites:
