Peace Corps blogs: Africa and around the world.

Aaron Childs is a Peace Corps Volunteer working as a computer technician and teacher in Togo, West Africa since June, 2005. He’s been chronicling his experiences in his blog, Aaron In Africa, which covers his arrival and subsequent culture shock through many unique experiences like being attacked by a machete-wielding native, and negotiating a proposal to build a local computer center. He has also posted videos of his home, the local market, and the school where he works. Even if you’re not considering joining the Peace Corps or going to Togo, Aaron’s blog is still a great source of inspiration for your own travels.

However, if this piqued your interest in reading about other Peace Corps volunteer experiences, PeaceCorpsJournals.com is a handy directory of blogs written by members from around the world. It currently lists 2,153 blogs, divided by world region and country.
