New online resource for long term travelers

A new website, aptly named “How to Travel the World”, recently launched as an online hub for beginning long term travelers.  This site is edited by Matthew Kepnes, a travel writer who has been on the road since 2005.

The site aims to explore the practical steps you need to take before taking your first long term trip anywhere in the world.  It covers all the stages of long term travel from pre-trip preparation to what you have to deal with when you return home.  The content is written by very experienced travelers, which comes in handy in their F.A.Q section, where they answer common questions from new travelers.

While there aren’t many destination-specific articles yet, the existing content is extensive enough for a newly launched website.  Also, expect a new section on green travel soon.

“How to Travel the World” might still be growing, but it’s bound to make its way as a great resource for first time vagabonds.
