    Yes, I agree about novelty. Here I thought things remained the same,–always–at my parents house… but at yesterday’s neighborhood picnic, we learned that most everyone we knew has moved away and scores of families with children live here now, each person nicer than the next. How life changes, and the novelty catches you at unexpected moments.
