In the event you’ll be vagabonding in Kansas…
Those planning on vagabonding through Kansas on late-summer road-trips might be interested to know that my father, George Potts, has just published A Pocket Guide to Common Kansas Mammals, along with photographer Bob Gress. Published in cooperation with the Great Plains Nature Center, the booklet can be picked up for free at various locations in Kansas, or acquired (for the cost of postage only) through the GPNC website.
My dad and Bob Gress also collaborated some years ago on Watching Kansas Wildlife: A Guide to 101 Sites, which is available at Amazon.com.
Further information on nature tourism in Kansas can be found at the Natural Kansas! website.
