Sorry, about the grammer and spell check. It's a relasing evening in my world. PS. Eddy you look sooo good on the cover of your book back then. You were just a tall, thick drink of well needed water.

I remember interviewing Eddy back when he was on his promotion tour for "South of Haunted Dreams." I live in Colorado and volunteered for a alternative radio station KGNU in Boulder, Colorado. He was bigger than life to me, "literraly" and his passion for writing and interpreting his experiences just swallowed me. Talking about how big his BMW bike was and how he laid it down until help arrived was a surreal trip... in his world of finding the hurtful truth of racism. I suggested he cool his heels at a Denver historic jazz venue called "El Chaputetec" may be the wrong spelling but he will know what I'm talking about. I just love his free spirit to not be bound by material things, he has such a great spirit of discernment of what is really important in life. To freely move without attatchments and experience the love that is free everywhere. Fearless is what comes to mimd when I think of Eddy. Much love to you in all you do brother!

I have read three of Eddy Harris's books and am getting ready to read the fourth. I'm a Black-Latino woman and I like his writing. I think it is important and have actually just ordered South of Haunted Dreams to give to my brother-in-law as a Xmas gift.

I enjoyed this interview. I am a person who doesn't travel well - due mostly to a very unfortunate event with police in a foreign country on my first trip out. The adventures and insights of others who travel willingly are important and illuminating for me.
