I am alive and well and in Peru

One again, I am posting to apologize for not posting more -- but the good news behind this is that I've been having some great experiences on the road in Ecuador and Peru. Indeed, after nearly two months in Mexico and Central America, the Drive Around the World expedition shipped the Land Rovers from Panama to Ecuador, and we have now resumed our driving. I don't get much Internet cafe exposure in the meantime -- and most of my time spent online here in South America is invested into editing and posting the expedition journals of my teammates. Thus, if you really want to know what my expedition is up to on a given day, surf over to the DATW journal page.

No promises, but I hope to post more photos and dispatches -- including a gallery of my best pictures from Central America -- here soon! In the meantime, I hope to at least pop in a few times a week to post short updates and travel quotes...
