Travel writing contest: Women Inspire Women

Journey Woman, a resourceful site for women travelers, has launched a travel-writing contest looking for the most inspiring tales of determination and courage. They want to read your stories and know how you overcame either a personal barrier or an external one in order to make your journey a successful one.

So women, women, and women, write in a maximum of 500 words, in any tone of voice -- comical, serious, reflective -- however you can express your story best, and send in your entries to editor[at]journeywoman.com. Put 'Women Inspire Women' in the subject line.

1st Prize: $100 + being published in their newsletter and website
4 Runners up: $25 each + being published in their newsletter and website
