More good news from Italy

The Italian translation of Vagabonding appears to doing very well in the six weeks since it was released. On the strength of the earlier La Repubblica review, as well as enthusiastic new reviews in Turismo, Donna Moderna, and La Stampa, Vagabonding appeared at #17 on the Arianna nonfiction bestseller list, and has been bouncing around the Top-50 at IBS Italia (which is the Italian equivalent of Amazon.com).

Now if I can just get my publisher to send me a copy of the Italian version -- I still haven't seen it yet!

Francesca:

Hi Rolf,
my congratulations for your “Vagabonding”! I finished your book (Italian version) a couple of days ago and I really liked it.
You are talking about Vagabonding but in fact you are talking about the life; I think, most of your reccomandations and what you suggest in your book is more in general a model of life that in my point of view counts not only if you are travelling around the world but even when you are living and working as usual at home.
So…not only a guide for long-term travel but a guide for good living as well!
And it helps, because although I’m thinking about an experience of long term travel, I’m still here and your book helps me to start my journey first in my mind and in my daily life; actually life is a journey on earth, isn’t?

A big big thank you……from Milano!

Francesca
